We’re thrilled to announce that our next webinar will occur on Thursday, March 21st at 12:00 London GMT, covering the work being carried out in Europe to streamline the e-invoicing process across the region.
In 2014, via Directive 2014/55/EU, the European Commission set forth a European-wide standard for e-invoicing in an effort to standardize this procedure and collate the various formats used by the Member States.
As explained by the EU, this range of formats leads to “unnecessary complexity and high costs for businesses and public entities,” and governing authorities chose to implement several norms to facilitate e-invoicing in the region.
This specific webinar will shed some light on this program to standardize e-invoicing throughout Europe and offer listeners with plenty of updates on what countries are doing to fall in line with these regulations.
Here are some of the main questions we’ll focus on during this webinar:
- What are some of the main benefits of e-invoicing in general?
- Likewise, what are some of the main benefits of standardizing e-invoicing across the EU?
- What are some of the main challenges to be faced as a result of this standardization?
- At what stage in this process is your jurisdiction at? Have there been any specific challenges unique to your country?
- Plenty of concerns have arisen with regards to data protection and cyber security vis-à-vis e-invoicing. What are your thoughts on this specific issue?
- And plenty more!
